yam connect study4

We’re excited to share the launch of a new study group for young (and young-ish) adults!  The Young Adult Ministry (YAM) Connect Study will meet on 3rd Sundays from 9:45 – 10:45 am between Sunday services in the Education Building, Room 2.

To be led by our Assistant Pastor, Victor Cyrus-Franklin, this will be a time for us to connect with each other and make new connections to the stories of the Bible and build a stronger connection with God.

On Sunday, April 19, we will begin a six month study of the biblical story of David and Goliath.  Along with the scripture, we will read the book Why David Sometimes Wins by Marshall Ganz, which tells the story of Cesar Chavez, California Farm Worker Movement and how the Davids of the world can defeat Goliath with resourcefulness, leadership and faith.

Do you want to discover how the story of David and Goliath can help us defeat the giants in our lives?  Connect with us on 3rd Sundays from 9:45 – 10:45 am!

Just for fun:
