Brief Description of Ministry / Committee / Board:
As part of our outreach to the community, our Storehouse Ministry provides food for those in our community who are in need of food. We distribute food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Volunteers serve on these days, and report at approximately 10:00 am to assemble grocery bags.
Individuals in need of food are required to call “211” on those days between 8:00am and 8:30am to be added to the food distribution list for that day.
STOREHOUSE SUNDAY is observed every 3rd Sunday at Holman UMC. Holman members and their friends are encouraged to bring donations of canned goods and non-perishable items each 3rd Sunday and deposit them in the bin located just inside the front doors of the church. Monetary contributions are also welcome.
2012 Accomplishments / Activities:
Storehouse Ministry continues to provide food to an average of 500 persons per month, which represents an average of 200 women, 200 children and 100 men. Our Storehouse Ministry provided food from January through November to over 5,000 persons.

2013 Goals / Plans:
- Continue the work of feeding the needy and continue to solicit more support to feed more people.
- Feed individuals in need consistent with the generous donations of our Holman church family & friends.
