Brief Description of Ministry/Committee/Board:
The mission of the Christian Athletic Association Ministry is to organize, manage and promote athletic activities within Holman United Methodist Church. Our goal is to encourage and facilitate the involvement of as many church members as possible in athletics, with a special focus on our youth.
Major Activities / Responsibilities
- To provide resources and opportunities for athletic activities within the church
- To secure funds for the support of our ministry, with special attention to the needs of our youth.
- To use athletic activities to promote the moral and religious significance of healthy competition.
- To promote athletic activities specifically directed towards leadership development of youth.
- We will be promoting community wide athletic events with Holman UMC as the lead church.
