HEART TO HEART
She avers that, in her darkest hours, she had no fear of any worse hell than the one she then carried in her bosom; though it had ever been pictured to her in its deepest colors, and threatened her as a reward for all her misdemeanors. Her vileness and God's holiness and all-pervading presence, which filled immensity, and threatened her with instant annihilation, composed the burden of her vision of terror. Her faith in prayer is equal to her faith in the love of Jesus. Her language is, "Let others say what they will of the efficacy of Prayer, I believe in it, and I shall pray. Thank God! Yes, I shall always pray," she exclaimed, putting her hands together with the greatest enthusiasm as she began to pray...

ANNOUNCEMENTS
SPECIAL BLACK HISTORY MONTH PRESENTATION – On February 26, 2012, Wayne and Elaine Moore will do a report in observance of Black History Month on the book The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson, Pulitzer Prize winner. The presentation will be in Room 5 of Holman’s Education Building during the Christian Education hour after the 8:00 am and 11:00 am services. This book chronicles the movement of southern blacks from America’s South to the promise land of the North. From 1915 to 1970, this exodus of almost six million people changed the face of America. Ms. Wilkerson interviewed almost a thousand individuals, and gained access to new data and official records, to write this definitive and vividly dramatic account of the great migration. This book is the winner of many awards including the prestigious National Books Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction.
PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY – Just a little reminder for you regarding offering envelopes and attendance slips. Your cooperation will greatly assist us in posting and recording information correctly, and making sure that records for your giving and attendance are posted as accurately as possible. If we cannot decipher your handwriting, the information will not get recorded. Our goal is to serve you efficiently. Thank you in advance.
YOUR SUPPORT WOULD BE A BLESSING – In an effort to procure funds for our upcoming

ANYONE MISSING IN YOUR PEW? – We thank you for keeping the clergy and church office
up to date on members whose presence you have missed in church. Please continue to keep us informed if your pew mates or neighbors are missing, as we reach out together in ministry to care for our brothers and sisters. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. We are grateful for your support
and commitment in our outreach to one another.

STOREHOUSE MINISTRY
Every 3rd Sunday is observed as Storehouse Sunday here at Holman.
Our Storehouse Ministry is our outreach opportunity to reach out to persons in our community who are in need of food. Your donations of canned goods, non-perishable items, and monetary contributions allowed us in January, 2012 to provide food to 435 persons – that’s 175 women, 102 men, and 158 children. We thank you for sharing your blessings and making this outreach possible. They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. 2 Corinthians 9:9
WE ARE BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING!
I tell you the truth,
whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me.
Matthew 25:40
