Understanding the Impact of Injury, Violence and Trauma on Mental Health and Wellbeing among Men and Boys of Color

What:             Join us for a half-day workshop focused on understanding the impact of injury, violence and trauma on mental health and wellbeing among men and boys of color
Attendees: This workshop is intended for public health professionals, mental health professionals, educators/school teachers, maternal and child health advocates, family and youth service providers, housing professionals, injury prevention professionals/organizations, law enforcement, students (undergraduate and graduate), prevention specialists, alcohol/substance use prevention professionals, park and recreation personnel  (e.g. Parks after Dark and Saturday Night Lights), and domestic/family/intimate  partner violence  professionals.  Everyone is welcome.

Prevention Institute (PI) seeks a seasoned communications leader to guide strategy to further our national, non-profit organization’s role in prevention and equity policy and practice. The Communications Manager leads our communications strategies for the organization; implements a multi-faceted communications approach to advance prevention and equity nationwide; builds momentum for effective primary prevention practice; raises the visibility of Prevention Institute’s work; and oversees the communications team.
