SPEAKER BIOS:

Pamela Samuels Young is a practicing attorney, award winning author and anti-trafficking advocate. Pamela’s sixth novel, Anybody’s Daughter, which examines the world of child sex trafficking, won the 2014 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Fiction.  A graduate of UC Berkeley’s School of Law, Pamela has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from USC and a master’s degree in broadcasting from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. A former journalist, Pamela speaks frequently on the topics of child sex trafficking, writing, diversity, discrimination law and pursuing your passion. Rev. Deborah Manns is a Licensed Ordained Minister, Founder and Owner of The Virtuous Woman Ministries Prayer and Conference Center located in Los Angeles, Ca.  Rev. Manns is a prophetic voice and community organizer concerned about families and women of all ages, the plight of the need to restore hope and virtue back to their lives and communities.  She dedicates her time and effort to address the needs of families that live, work and worship in risky environment.

The Virtuous Woman Ministries Inc. is dedicated to empowering women to live healthy, fulfilling lives. She heads an Initiative Project Destiny an organization that engages in Public Policy and Civic Engagement; an effort to reduce the amount of young women going into the juvenile justice system.  Rev. Manns is a passionate and powerful motivational speaker who speaks truth to power.
