The African-American Leaders for Tomorrow (AALT) Program seeks to prepare the next generation of community, business, governmental and non-profit organizational leaders in the African-American community. AALT is for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students who are interested in an on-campus, immersion experience at the California State University at Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). Students will meet with state leaders, learn from professionals, participate in a variety of workshops and enjoy social activities with their peers from across the state. They will also gain the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of civic engagement by participating in mock legislative activities and procedures. The AALT application deadline is Tuesday, April 30.
