Unshackled and Unstoppable: The Liberty of the Sons of God (Romans 8:18–31) // Sunday October 11, 2026

Join 11:00 am worship with Holman UMC!  We will receive a message from Guest Pastor, Dr. Antoine Hawkins, “Unshackled and Unstoppable: The Liberty of the Sons of God” based on Romans 8:18–31 with music from the Holman Sextet, directed by William Campbell Jr.

Dr. Antoine Hawkins serves at the intersection of spirituality and executive leadership as Superintendent of the award-winning Evergreen School District in San Jose, California where all 18 schools hold California Distinguished School honors and multiple schools are National Blue Ribbon Schools.

He is the former Pastor of the historic 800-member Greenway Church in the DFW Metroplex, and he is an international keynote speaker whose engagements span the United States, the Caribbean, and South America. As an advisory council member to the U.S. Department of Education’s Western Educational Equity Assistance Center (WEEAC) at WestEd, Dr. Hawkins engages regional educational stakeholders to guide the center’s technical assistance on civil rights, desegregation, school climate, and equity issues. He also serves as President of the California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA).

He holds an earned and fully accredited doctorate degree with a research emphasis in I/O Psychology and Transformational Leadership, is a graduate of University of Southern California (USC) Urban Superintendent Certification Program, and Western Region Deputy Executive Director for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Hawkins remains dedicated to empowering men, strengthening families, and building faith-driven communities.
